Personally, I don't care what euros think. To me, they live in a drab uni world where there are no leaders, just an equal share for all, which in turn stagnates innovation - being a winner requires innovation, taking chances and going for the gold, all of which the EU seems to think isn't what they are about.

Actually this probably all came about because of WWII and the shame the Europeans felt about Germany etc. If you study European history - Europe was a leader in innovation and intellectual thinking.
Yes. However the commission has already signaled it is not willing to allow filibuster in this case but intends to keep firm grip on a schedule as tight as practicable in this case by communications timelines in weeks.
