I don't ever recall seeing him play, but in those days I was a young Dodgers (NL) fan, and he played in the other league (AL), on a team that was seldom good enough to get the attention of a kid on the other coast in the other league.

I do remember that he was mentioned among the best power hitters in baseball, however.
