Hey osger...with all due respect...
...no need to rub it in, so to speak. We all need to move on and away from the daily BS. These daily emotional gyrations add little to nothing to the overall picture. Whoever thinks this one will simply turn "on a dime" is badly misguided (no pun intended and not directed at you).
Finding, mining, and producing diamonds (or any other natural resource) is a painstaking and timely process. It is also expensive, of course, and I wish we had more financial info. at this point. Perhaps in the near future.
I wish I had a crystal ball that would tell all of us what it will be like a year from now. But, alas, I do not.
