Personally, I'm not concerned about the money lost. Sure, it would be better not to lose it. What concerns me is the low value that many put on their own personal pride and reputation. They are prostitutes working for their pocketbook. Some things should be more valuable. I can even understand people having trouble keeping a meal on the table acting in those ways, as long as they have the pride to realize this is a desparate and slothenly act. When people will do anything, absoultiely anything without regard to ethics or self-esteem, merely to help protect their dollars, that's when the country is in trouble as is the larger social fabric of humanity.
