07 m3s are 333hp with the 335 at 300hp, so pretty close, but the M3 is a lot more fun to drive, next years M3 will be at an amazing 420 hp, but the diesels will be available in the X5 and one of the 5 series...dont think thats an official public release yet though, ill put in a word for aero exhausts!
