#14616 RE: stargrazer #14613

No I’m not with Perihelion; I resigned months back, my engineering company needed be back in the saddle and by staying on with the Perihelion Firm as a V.P. was un-necessary. After seeing how John ran the show he is more than capable of making prudent and wise decisions on what he displayed to me. Strong willed and very powerful mind.

After reading some posts tonight I see many are in John’s corner. John has a lot on his plate right now for all of us and success is all he knows. He is the most persistent man I know next to myself. When he says he’s going to do something he throws everything into it.

To answer your question about the company going algae there was some talk about it early on, we had discussions about 7 months ago. Actually Johns wife had mentioned it to me and then my wife mentioned it in the same week. I started investigating on my own but So much of the algae fields are speculative, now don’t get me wrong the technology to have and harvest land based algae fields are true and clear, BUT as an investment for a biofuel company ……………I don’t know. I think it would be considered closer to a farmer to peanuts than a biofuel company to raising its own feed stock.

In retrospect Many many farmers since the early 80's have concerns also DEQ with runoff Carbonates especially Nitrogen and acids and amino terminus that seep into ground water and lakes and streams from farming (pesticides and fertilizer)this is an excellent for the growth of nasturtium a prime herbal steroid plant that seems to be a kick in the pants for very quick growth for an algae farmer. Even animal waste mixed with this ground plant waste is phenomenal as a food source. I have been speaking with some associates that are like many, that state Algae is a way to go however, technology is here but chemist that can teach deoxyhaemoglobin and globin chains to a new breed of scientific farmer is a ways down the line.In my guess 5 years. The world is ready but the farmer is not.

John has the right idea the equipment he has can be easily converted to an algae feed stock but for now legumes is the way to go. Once the States come on board with incentives I am sure many algae fields will start popping up. Especial in the west where the great Salt Basin is, Utah,Nevada Arizona etc. We are on a good path just as we are doing. Just watch and see. In my head Perihelion is going to be a leader in this nation diverse and multifaceted.
