#6120 RE: skunksyard #6116

I want to put an end to this once and for all. This whole conversation started when Skunk in post # 6055 put the blame on Cambridge failure on not having a menu on the wall and a pizza by the slice costing 2.62 w/tax. I responded by saying it is ridiculous to say those two things caused the failure of a pizza restaurant and went on to explain that the owners made some very poor business decisions in how they chose to market themselves and by incurring overhead that was out of this world. Now as to wether they owned the building or not, I do not know, but everyone at Unique believes they bought the building and in the press release skunk put up yesterday the headline stated they purchased the Tommy's pizza location. So wether they just bought the Tommy's pizza or the building i do not know. But i do know purchasing whatever they purchased did have an impact in the closing. I have a phone call in to Joe Pittorino and am waiting for a reply.

I never said that Unique's lack of support did not play a role, but skunk said in a post that " I am not at all going to say it was the Cambridge folks that caused this OG" How can you say that, it was their business to make or break and they did not do it. Regardless of what Jim told them or did not tell them. These guys were smart, if Jim was telling them something that did not make sense why didn't they tell him to go pound sand?

This is the last i am going to speak on this, i have WAY more important things to do.
