You may find this hard to believe but the school gave me a three dollar clock that does not work when I retired. I had no farewell party after 40 years. My current students and former students gave me a gala event that made me cry. The liberal douche bags could not believe that I could get an all expenses paid trip to any destination that I chose. I am also getting PMs from people who do not find me scary. But do not worry there are not many like me left in the schools. They do not hire people like me anymore.
