Yes, wouldn't it make sense that no more substantial (assuming positive) news will be announced until the venture partners (and their families, friends, etc.) have gotten their fill of dirt cheap shares?

In the meantime, the silence, the doubt, the rumors, the paranoia, the free falling pps, all of these things are working to the advantage of the company's strategy to get the partners in as cheaply as possible.

Well then, let's hurry up to the 2.5B mark or about 70M more to get to the finish line, so we can get the show on the road!

Whirl, I'd like to add to your post

with a thought based on the following sentence from the PR:

"They have committed to over the counter purchases of approximately two thirds of the amount they require, with the balance to come from Phoenix as certain acquisitions are made, contracts are granted, and sales and profit projection are achieved that are attributable to their efforts.”

I’ve read that PR many times and assumed the order of events would be in the same order as listed in the PR.

First, they buy on the open market.
Second, they buy from Phoenix.

Then it hit me. If I was buying such a massive amount of shares would I really want to purchase on the open market first. That would drive the PPS up and make subsequent purchases more expensive. No, first I’d do some good deeds and when some positives were attributable to my efforts I’d buy from Phoenix like we previously agreed upon. Maybe I’d even buy at a rate slightly less than the TA received the shares from Phoenix. The dilution would drive the PPS down and shares would be getting even cheaper as weak hands began to fold. Then, when I was done buying from Phoenix, I’d slowly begin to purchase the rest starting at the newly established 52 week low. When all the shares were acquired, I’d add some clarity to the business operations with a decent PR and watch the shorts scramble to cover as the train pulls out of the station.

Maybe I’m crazy but I'm trying to make sense of everything and I think my story fits the action as of late. My dry powder is ready and my finger is on the button. I’ll be pressing the button “soon”. My finger has been twitching for a couple of days now.
