I remember seeing the sign up page, the page for movies, the page for t.v. and I think sort of an 'about' page. It was really thought out well from the perspective of how once someone's eyeballs are on the site, how do you get them to understand quickly why they should stay there and not click off, and then why they should download the player and give it a whirl. Then, why they should be a subscriber. Ro definitely understands conversion.
I really think they don't have much to do since they really did seriously consider launching last Friday. I am saying 2 to 3 weeks till it launches, but in my gut from what I heard, I think it could be this coming Friday or Monday.
I want to back up what others have said that this meeting was FAR from a rah, rah session. It was factual information with Barry being very conservative with an underlying tone of excitement and feeling that we really got something. Bev said that everytime she sees the technology on the big screen like we saw at the meeting, she gets excited all over again. She also said that the first time she saw the technology, she made the decision to drop what she was doing and join the company. I think that when the news releases start flowing, they're going to be the ones we've been waiting for. All in my humble yet informed opinion.
