I went to the driving range today. I took a couple of friends and had them try the 6 iron. They all thought it felt great and really liked the club. One of the guys said he'd get a set if they didn't cost so much but he really liked it.
And, again, none of them have heard of scandium. I also asked a guy who looked like he was very good at golf to try the 6 iron as he walked by. I didn't tell him anything about it but asked if he would just try it. He hit 5 or 6 balls and he said it was a really nice club. I then told him the shaft was made with scandium and he was like, "What?" "What's scandium?" I get that so much now when I show the 6 iron off - it's kind of frustrating that so many people don't know about scandium let alone E21.
So, no, I don't golf but I'm out there showing off the club and having people try it. I haven't had anyone not like the club, yet. Next week I'm letting a friend take the club for a weekend and he's taking it to have his club builder take a look at it.
It's nice to have personal experiences with people trying the club and seeing how they like it. It's one thing to read about it on here but it's another when you ask complete strangers to try it out and they like it.
C'mon marketing and advertising. The word has got to get out.
