Nice read. Payables to the account receivables have dramatically improved since this article was published. It states it's rare to go past 6 months. Nowadays unless there's a discrepancy 2 weeks is norm and you can stretch it out from there. Of course, the further out it is receiving the payables, I would think there would be more interests in companies like GSI.
Under "Investment Characteristics" on the first page it appears they're discussing the bond market stating "However the healthcare ABS sector is small and the securities thinly traded." Wonder if that's improved over the last 5 yrs.?
