placer alluvial deposits can find the quartz in the white channel
gravel but sometimes the gold encompasses the quartz..iam not
an expert but differnt placers in different areas have different
occurences..in our ihub box the valleys would be called a
secondary placer...

raw quartz` crystal has some commercial value sometimes in a placer
discovery you end up with a lot of it like many pounds..
