I don't disagree with Mishkin. I just believe there is little the Fed can do at this point. They don't realize bubbles collapse on their own weight, and it's very difficult to alter that phenomenon.
This pre-emptive policy of rate cuts will work as well as pre-emptive wars, IMO.
