Dadd, The recent ERHC update stated that Jim Ledbetter is cooperating with Addax on the selection of targets for exploratory wells in blocks 2 and 4.

Jeff Shrull came over to Addax after being responsible for the data for OBO-1.

Addax CEO Gandur stated today that the purchase of the 40% interest in Block 1 will allow for a focused, JDZ-wide exploration program that will bring about the earliest possible development of the blocks.

IMHO, it is probable that Jim Ledbetter and ERHC will be privy to all the JDZ data Addax knows about. However, ERHC can not go public with such data.

Addax will not publish/share info with partners in other blocks (ERHC, SINOPEC) against CVX wishes, but the info they get from Block 1 will certainly help them provide input to decision-making in the adjoining blocks. They don't have to say where they got their information, but it will definitely help in formulating plans / drilling / etc. On the other hand, if there is no overriding large pool throughout the JDZ and only lots of smaller pockets, is there the need for as much communal sharing of facilities / information as many of us thought would be needed?
