Honor Flights focus of Fox News segment

Fox News Sunday is planning to air a special segment on the Honor Flights that take World War II veterans from across the nation to visit the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Earl Morse, who began the Honor Flights, teamed up with Jeff Miller, founder of HonorAir, to work with cities and states nationwide that are interested in the flights.

Reporter Chris Wallace with Fox Network interviewed Morse for Sunday's show as the "Power Player of the Week." "Sen. Dole personally contacted Chris Wallace and told him to do a story about our program and to contact Jeff Miller with HonorAir in Hendersonville," Morse said. "Jeff told Fox News that if he and I could not do the piece together, only to interview me. Despite repeated requests to go on together, Fox insisted on only one person. Jeff stepped back and I was the fortunate one."Miller did the same thing last year when ABC News named Morse "Person of the Week," Morse said.
