#11660 RE: rubellite0013 #11648

Rubellite...glad you noticed my post. The info from AAGH is contained in the quote below from their last Q. I developed the cost per minute based upon the publicized amount per minute for the Spring festival, which is MUCH higher than the amount I used. The Spring festival is, of course, like the Super Bowl in China. The contract with 2way is for 12 months, and can be extended an additional 12 months. So, one of two things, either they have another distribution channel deal to announce for the airing of WWTBAM on Sundays, or they have renegotiated their contract with 2way to one 90 minute show per week.

"CMP, under the terms of its agreement with Celador International/2waytraffic, will produce and broadcast a minimum of 104 episodes of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” over a period of 12 months beginning third quarter 2007. The agreement includes a mutual option for production and broadcasting to continue for a second year thereafter. CMP expects to begin closing advertising contracts once it has concluded agreements with all key broadcast distribution channels."
