I've found a few other small blurbs in some other pdf's on that same site about Escala, but nothing really of any use.

Thank u for the link. Escala seems to be more famous for Gold deposit. There one references about Gold while referring Escala in this report. One mention is as follows,

"The most promising prospects were the
gold properties of Escala, Cashi Laguna, and Don Mario,
each with a good possibility of becoming open pit mines."

The other is with reference to Barrick's drilling.

"American Barrick of Canada and Auspac of Australia were
drilling at Escala in the Lipez area."

Although we do not know the result of drilling yet we believe there must be lot of data available with COMIBOL. Since FMNJ is a JV partner with COMIBOL, it is assumed that FMNJ must have access to all of that data before initiating work on this project.

Thank you for the due diligence. I wonder if the Escala project referred to in the document encompasses the Escala Mine since it apparently was a project to mine the mountain area for silver. This mid 90s period in Bolivia was disastrous for the mining industry as tin and zinc prices fell to lows making the mines economically non viable. With the current rise in metal prices accompanied by a very weak dollar, and with major technological advances as a poster just suggested, the economic thesis may present a great opportunity for the company to make some real money. The last announcement, which was mostly a repetition of palns to startup, did add that representives from Comibol would also be on site this week. A significant increase in stock volume may presage a rally in the stock. Thanks again for a good find.
