actually BigTrader, in a place like Chattanooga, fiber is a real challenge because of the mountainous terrain. RIM might have a great chance to reach a lot of folks who will never have access to fiber in areas like that, since DSL is the best suited mode of high speed internet. I do know that ATT is really pushing DSL in middle Tennessee so there must be something in the future to challenge the costs versus fiber.

BigTrader, think globally. Do you think China, India, all of Central and South America, Russia, Eastern Europe, Africa, etc are going to lay fiber throughout their countries when for a fraction of the cost they can use existing wire with Cupria? US customers have money and maybe customers will be willing and able to pay the higher price for fiber but there are many sparsely populated areas, especially out west, where fiber makes no sense if you want to reach 80% of the homes (remember the last mile solution?).
