Here is my theory, far out as it is. I always worry about the company selling shares into their own hype. But in this case, Ryan would have issued the PR (which I really think is coming) and gotten much more for his shares, if he were selling. As I have said before, when a shell like this is taken over, there are all kinds of shares in hands from the old company. Ryan may have bought a bunch off-market, but I'll bet there are more. These shareholders are always anxious to dump them and move on, so he may be hoping his optimism in the last CC is encouraging them to dump into the buying created by that CC. Then, and he probably knows how many shares he is dealing with, you release the PR and get a run not discouraged by the selling of all those old shares. IMO.

I don't know the answer and would rather see the ask uptick as well. In the first CC, I asked Dan why NITE was all over the ask and he said that he didn't know, but suspected a short which is when he said that he is talking with ABVG's lawyers about an idea to divvy out stock via the TSX market to shareholders of ABVG, meaning that any short positions would have to be covered.

This action also happened right before the stock jumped from .0135 to .055 recenlty. The volume is out of nowhere on no news, so retail buying from guys like you and me would not be resulting in a volume day like today IMO.

The only thing that strikes me is whether this is a big loader / group of loaders (insiders ? the hedge fund we have heard about?) buying it up big today before the news hits.
