Good enough for me. I'll take your word that it is analogous to perpetual motion until proven otherwise based on your explanation. It does sound fishy (pun intended).

That's true, but what we don't know is how much energy it takes to run the radio frequency generator. I'll bet that it takes differing amounts of energy to microwave popcorn or using a popper. So there could be a relative advantage.
