Deer Park, looking good...
Scaffolding is down, the big bit Apple is in place, windows taped over, but the word "iPhone" was already painted on the window.
As I said before, nice retail space, Crate & Barrel, Harry & Davids, Pottery Barn, places like that in the same center. High median income in the surrounding area, but oddly enough, less than 1/2 mile south east, there are shady looking used car dealers, bars, a seedy strip club, and rent-by-the-week-no-deposit-hotels (the poor souls living there are a step away from being homeless).
That seedy strip is on the outskirts of Palatine, the next town over, and has always looked pretty bad. But, the developments keep growing and those places will be displaced in a very few years I assume.
