You get taxed on income/profits. I don't know retail, but assuming 10% margins on 53m (add in accounting gymnastics) 147,000 sounds reasonable. Correct me if I am wrong. Maybe I misunderstood you.

Sorry, you are wrong! This was not income tax but some sort of State accomodation tax or something like that which was calculated by a certain dollar applicable for every $1000.00 of revenue! By doing the backwards calculation the poster was able to support a revenue number of $53 million. I am sure someone here will repost the findings for you to do your own calculations!!!

Sorry , your wrong!
The $147,000 they paid ,was just for the Franchise Taxes that they owed for last year alone,(ie public record)

We couldn't hack into the IRS DATA BASE to get the non public records of their normal taxes owed.lol
