What I found interesting was his political savvy and naivete all wrapped up in the same speech.
Attacking major corporations and global warming is a stroke of brilliance IMO as it addresses the groups he is most likely to win over in the left edge of the political spectrum. Nothing he would say could influence your typical republican so he tailored his message to the targets he had a better chance with.
On the other hand I don't know who he thinks he is going to win over arguing that we need to institute islamic law in the united states.
Most of us here sort of like the idea of women not being treated like livestock, and the idea we will not be beaten and tortured for listening to a bit of music.
