pnew, the only way that a company can find out how many naked shorts they have is if the naked shorter tells the company. The DTCC will not release the amount of naked short to anybody, including the company itself. Who is getting nearly a billion shares from PBLS? Why do we know so little about the company receiving all those shares? Maybe they made enough money on the short side after covering with free shares to use some of the proceeds and run it back up?
1 billion shorted at $0.04 avg and covered with free shares is a $40 million profit.
