If anyone wants to learn how such “rumors” work, I would refer them to ACMG iHub posts from May 07 to May 10. Take a look at the chart as well.
Some background info:
After a fluffy PR campaign the ACMG CEO suddenly disappeared. Nobody could find him at all.
A poster “iseemtobewrong” holding 2M+ shares posted that his brother in low Mark (former US cop) managed to meet CEO’s girlfriend in Canada and she said that everything would be great just in few days and those who had sold in disbelief would be chasing the price.
People started buying back like crazy. The volume jumped from 2 to 10M for two days and the price moved 50% up. It was a totally b/s story since the guy made it up just to sell his shares. He was so stupid that just two months after he admitted he had sold…
