Klaus, the thing is that to fit into the thin-and-light package, the CPU, at its full clockspeed, must not exceed the 25W thermal limit. 30W might be acceptable at the time. The current specs suggest that it´s still ways off. Don´t confuse this with battery life/average power consumption. Dothan is currently speced at 21W TDP for 2Ghz, which is pretty much the benchmark. I don´t think A64 can reach that. But, there are other form factors, those will come first.

The same core is used for light notebooks and 4P servers. Noone can do it. Intel is cooking Xeons quite different from P4's and P-M's.
