KPF, For mobile operation the maximum powerstate is pretty irrelevant.

I was actually looking at the minimum power state. The TDP is the thermal design power, and that has to go down quite a bit still.

Of course, AMD´s work with chipset suppliers, component suppliers and ODM´s is what in the end could close the gap. That´s the key, once the CPU specs are at the right level.
I think this will still take some time. And I have my doubts that AMD can match INTEL´s continuing efforts here.
