The system, as it is now, would implode if handed over to Government.

That's reality....Universal health insurance is a good idea but it cant exist without completely dismantling the current system. In a Capitalist society, it will be damn near impossible to do that.

Sounds good at election season to get votes.

Then the stinky piles
from both sides of the aisles
lose their memory. The PAC money from big insurance and big pharma helps the memory fade even quicker.

That would work too at the GOP gathering. Outside of course people understand that we're the laughing stock because we keep making the same mistakes over and over and keep bragging about it. Like misguided wars that leave us broke and hated and misguided elections of a loser the rest of the world spotted instantly but took americans 6 years to properly evaluate.

Get that? OK...Dont picture it from the perspective of a GOP convention,

Picture it from the perspective of a starving Sudanese mother watching her child die while flies crawl all over it's eyeballs while they are 3 feet from a trench of open sewage and smelling the stink of 100 other mothers and children in the same condition.

Picture it from the perspective of a wife in Iraq whose house was just car bombed and her husband and children have been torn to pieces and are now part of the wallpaper.

At the same time, as the fat ass, 300lb disenfranchised slob walks past Taco Bell, he can hear someone in the drive through lane screaming that he will sue because their Big Beef Burrito has a hair in it.

Weak, victims, self centered assholes. We ARE the laughing stock. I traveled to France, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic this year. I KNOW what I heard.

I guess the Republicans figure if the people stop eating altogether they won't need health insurance.
