kpf, I don't have a firewall running. I am connecting through a router however. No other site (other than RB) is slow. I-hub loads lickety split. So does Fool, AMDZone, Yahoo, NYTimes, WSJ, etc. It has only been SI over the last couple of weeks.
I usually just load a page of SI in the background and look at something else while it is loading. Don't know if it is something unique to my configuration (though it happens on the laptop as well) or if it something with SI (someone mentioned the ad server).
