Good article F6, and so sad, but once again this administration refuses to strike a balance; there is only one, their way, and to hell with anyone or anything who isn't on board 100%.
What many do not realize is many facets of Bush's agenda, once implemented, can never be reversed regardless of who is in office and the trampling of our environment and the wholesale raping by mining companines, oil and gas, timber industries, etc., with no afterthought to its consequences is a complete sellout. Our dependence on foreign oil (read the middle east) has been increasing for years yet Bush's only, and I mean only policy is drill for more when every reputable study acknowledges world oil reserves and production having peaked and beginning to decline, is unconscionabale.
I read an article a year or so ago about the head of BLM, whom I believe was heavily involved in the mining industry prior to his appointment, so no surprise here. The fox watching the chicken coop, (look out rooster).
