Dr Schoepp worked with ampakines.He quits Lilly goes to work for Merck.
Now Lilly seems to have a medicine working through the glutamate pathway and they are giving total credit to Dr. Schoepp.
If this is really new and that exciting why did he quit the company after 20 years?
Maybe its just me but this seems to give me a bad odor knowing all the games that Lilly likes to play.Maybe the new medicine without a name is an ampakine and the good Dr. didn't want to be part of those shenanigans??
