F6...I'll step on bulldzr's turf before he has a chance to reply, but yeah, I think you are right(no pun intended) to a degree. I speak with many hard core Republicans every day and when discussing this administration they become sheepishly quiet to much even they have a hard time accepting.
That said, when it comes time to pull the trigger and vote, most will vote their pocketbook and 'hope' the next four years will be kinder and gentler, when in their hearts they know, if reelected, the next four years they would be witness to the raping of Lady Liberty. But they will take that chance.
As bulldzr to correctly pointed out, Bush (or his cronies) will float gay marriage, the 'L' word, rooster's lame argument that our country will be infiltrated by every 'terrorist' out there and, of course, white males will have to fear their 'position' in the whole scheme of things as 'minorities' are given preference. They play the fear card like a harp...and it works.
