Piece of cake? Maybe after the first quarter and a half. I know it was raining, but LSU better tighten up their offense. Otherwise a few big lizards are going to show up in Baton Rouge Oct. 6 and stop some...well you know what.

Percy Harvin will be a Heisman candidate next year if he stays healthy this year. Tim Tebow...well, the news out of Gainesville is good but we won't know until the gators take on TN at the Swamp on Sept 15. I see that the line on FL/WKY is between -32 to -35. With 9 "rookies" on D-fence, I don't know if I'd take the over on that even being a FL fan...

The game I like is TN/Cal. As much as I would like to see TN wax Cal, Cal is a powerhouse when it comes to scoring with QB Nate Longshore and WR Desean Jackson, TN just doesn't have the firepower to keep up with Robert Meachem gone and Erik Ainge a little banged up. Plus, TN put it to them last year bad. I don't see Cal letting that happen. At Cal -6.5, I'd take the over. Even if it's close...it will be a high scoring, win by at least 10 either way kind of game.

Just an opinion of course...

Thanks for the LSU tip. I like to toss a few bucks at football every now and then. Was in sleeper mode yesterday as far as football went, but when I saw the spread it almost seemed like a no brainer.

I must admit though, I missed a lot of chances last year with yalls Rutger picks. No offense to all the Rutger fans on this board, but I was not a believer until later in the year. Missed a lot of your picks, the big money picks. Getting fired up about this year, much better odds than the pinkies at this time.

Good luck to yall.

Great call there Coy on LSU, not even close. Great way to start it out.

When Utah lost quarterback Brian Johnson in the first half I knew that was it and turned it off. That is why they call it gambling, on to another day.
