So chipguy, what do you think? All those dark transistors could be an unusable 64b x86 that was not AMD64. Sound plausible?

64 bitness on its own would take millions of transistors,
not tens of millions. There has to be something else big
in there to explain the overall transistor count even if
there is 64 bit capability present.
