Hey Stratey, it is funny you mentioned that about Chang. I'm surprised the brilliant DD doer Moneynmetals didn't say anything about this when Chang first came on scene.
I'm a little over google at the moment, otherwise I would find the link to support what I'm about to say. There was another pink sheet scam, Cyberfast, who started throwing Jack Changs name around. Of course every instance of his name in any PR for the scam ended with co-inventor and patent holder of the ATM.

Ok, back on track. Anyway there was an interview where Jack Chang was asked about his affiliation with the now busted scam. Jack said that the scam used his name and achievments to pump their stock. I think he said that the owner of the scam did talk to him, but no agreements were made and no momey changed hand. Yet, Changs name was used to elevate the share price and Chang recieved nothing.
So, who is telling the truth?
