First .. I do not know how to do the advanced search on ihub .. I have tried to look for that series of posts .. & the photos on and off .. for over a year .. . so thank you for posting that again ..
I still cannot find the website I got those pictures from .. I know they were from one of Juan Coles .. inactive sites .. I have looked at the Napoleon one, couldn't find it there and I knew it was not on his regular site or his 'group ME analysis site ' .. I have never been able to get that out of my mind .. that whole thread has just been like a recurring dream to me .....that wasn't finished .. ;) I wanted to go back there so much .. . I remember myself then, I still had heroes, that I believed in so very much .. I still respect and admire Jimmy Carter ... He was so advanced & way ahead of the curve with his energy policy and I also believe human rights were truly and sincerely extremely important to him and Rosalyn both ... . I think he was sincere and educated not only in intelligence but also with a huge heart for people .......
..things can be so confusing .. "how could he do that ? " .. etc.. etc.. ......we can ask that of all of them .........and today, he is a stand out compared to who the voters drug in to replace him ............It seems to me, that with Carter, we still had decency ..
when reagan stepped up to the plate ...all that was good and true, & most of all What was working and had been working well, for quite a few years .. began to be chipped away at ... and then we became a country full of people who began to 'blame' "Welfare Queens" for all of their problems ........it's been downhill ever since,....culminating with the Grand Nightmare of them all ......
