Borusa, buy the puts if you want, but I'd give INTC more of the benefit of the doubt. Do you think eating a little crow and adopting AMD64 is going to offset the stock more than the prospects of a growth market with Intel's manufacturing capacity? Even this board has commented in the past that Intel having an AMD64 compatible processor would be *bad* news for AMD, since it means that AMD would lose their differentiation. If you think the shame of Intel being a fast follower to their competitor is enough to offset what will surely be a very profitable year, then by all means short the company. Just keep in mind the full perspective. Best of luck.
