I am puzzled by the low volume.

These big deals take a while to put together and are known to the parties involved long before they are public.

Is it feasible that the actual share buying for the "New Deal" took place in June with all those big days as the price came down?

We are lower volume this month than any month except july when most people were on vacation. Certainly no evidence of a consistent major buyer.
