TransCanada is working on a pipeline into the U.S... coming down through the Dakotas, eventually leading to Oklahoma and Illinois.

I live in Eastern SoDak.. they're still making deals and getting all the land issues worked out, but they're very near the point where the pipeline will be built.

There's another company trying to get one of the countries first new oil refineries built in SE SoDak... I think one of the reasons for the location has to do with the TransCanada pipeline, along with a lot of oil patches in the central U.S. finding new very productive life.

I do not know if any of this would directly effect or involve LCOL, but it's probably something worth checking into.
