I can see this reducing the amount of complaints about deleted posts as well. Possibly, this could reduce the time it takes to maintain the site.

Deleted posts appear to be a common topic on this board.

I think you've got something there. I don't know if what you say exactly would work but maybe something similar.

Use it as a unit of measure....... Maybe it would show that deletions shouldn't be deleted in the first place!
