The Global Business Coalition has been extremely active, with upcoming events in Mosocow and the Ukraine. In October, there will be a field visit by the global business leaders to ground breaking Russian programs, discussion and awareness as to the explosion of the HIV virus in Russia, a fact finding mission by the Coalition leaders,as well as a meeting with Russian leaders regarding HIV interdiction efforts in their country. This event will kick off the Global Leaders Conference where the Global leaders will be hosted in Moscow. This will be followed in November with a meeting in Kyiv, Ukraine, with the Ukraine Business Summit.
Calypte has been very involved with the Global Business Coalition through its representative and member, Marat Safin. It will be interesting to see the news of what is occurring with these programs in Russia.
In November the Global Fund Delegate Forum is in Beijing.
The Global Business Coalition has an event planned for World Aids Day, however no details have been revealed as of yet.
