This notebook has a much higher capacity battery than any Centrino notebook...so it isn't exactly fair to compare. A DTR vs thin and light.

Don't get me wrong. I would love to have one of these. I think the compromise in size and weight over a Centrino thin and light notebook is worth it.

avatar - re: battery life. Better make sure you're talking apples and apples, not apples and oranges. What kind of battery is the Centrino system you mentioned using? Voodoo says this about theirs:
"The fact that the battery is 12 cells, and 6600mAh makes it the most powerful LION battery we carry. "

Edit: Looks like one of their Centrino machines, the m:355, uses an 8 cell pack. The m:460 doesn't say how many cells, but since it costs even more than the A64 model's(m:855) pack does, it's probably safe to say it's a 12 cell pack as well. Now, which Centrino machine they were comparing to, I don't know.
