gtv, please allow and believe me when I explain 'those first few days'.

HMGP was trading ungodly shares at .018 -.02 with an os that made the MC under $3/4M. It was clearly buying time, no matter who was selling them. IMO, they were naked shorts by MMs who just didn't realize HMGP was 'not your typically, debt-ladden, asset poor, company'.

Personally, I believe 300K of my pre- and .02 shares were all NNS. Thank you MMs. ;-) (still got 'em all and more...in cert form now) LOLOL!!!

That was when the wave of Lowmanites "arrived". Lowman came around near the end of November, and it didn't take long for word to spread... that volume spike was the beginning of Hemi's increased popularity, when the word FINALLY got out to enough people to have some impact. That IMO was the single largest influx of new buyers...
That being the case, even if that "big buyer" was also in there buying, as long as they didn't buy in a single chunk (there were no single trades that large) they would have/could have just been part of the crowd, and would not have independently caused the share price to climb.
