Excel...Depending on the child, I think children should be taught proper gun safety & gun education somewhere between 6-9. I have taught and seen a child shoot very well and handle a firearm with all do respect at the age of 5. Like I said, it depends on the child, as well as the parent. Some of these parents today........ OK! I won't go any further on that subject; LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
