It'll be every abled body for themselves. I think we'll learn to work together again. Politics be damned. Barter will surface again.
My dad spent some of his early life in the Depression. He was 6 if it started in 29, and I always criticized his frugal ways, like two sheets of toilet paper was enough, and all of us using his bathwater, because showers were wasteful. You know, I don't think I had a shower until Gym class in high school.
That kind of conservation effort puts a mark on who is involved.
The next few years are going to be (to borrow an old curse) "interesting times".
