Yeah...I think people lose sight of that the company's NICHE focus is the selling point here (besides their stellar reputation, guaranteed FRAUD FREE commerce, and Hands-on approach).
Any new or used car dealer can sell hondas. The Collector car, classic car, hot rod, etc markets have been (and still are) predominantly occupied and dominated by hobbiests and collecters. Those that DO get involved in this industry as a business tend to be Mom & pop type players.
THERE IS NO STANDOUT business player in the space. Sure there is Barrett-Jackson and some other high end auctioneers (they throw actual events, and DONT do what Hot Web does).
I like Hot Web's niche focus and think it is their competitive edge. I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of joint venture/ partnership with one of the Barrett-Jacksons of the world down the line, or some other well-heeled player in Classics and Collector cars.
As far as the cycle, RV and Boat businesses are concerned, those have a more MASS market appeal, and i bet will grow handsomely under the FRAUD FREE model.
