Excellent point...I just think my friends made terrible timing decisions using interest only loans to buy at the top of the market.

The mandate, or job of the Federal Reserve Board is "price stability". That is why they exist. In other words, control inflation so you don't have to take a wheelbarrow full of money to buy bread. As in, i.e. Argentina years ago.

Controlling the stock market is not their job. The rate decrease today won't help much, IMHO.

ECCI up nicely...then slammed again. I think I made a poor choice.
