The link you provided did not answer any questions as to methodology or how the questions were phrased, which is always very important in interpreting any poll. When I went to the actual poll results, I did not see any question concerning Iraq at all. If you can supply more information, that would be helpful, but without it, there is little to gain by way of interpretation.
I did not mention it before, but I did notice that by about a two to one margin, Americans felt that the actions of Bush did not warrant impeachment. Once you factor out the rabid anti-Bush crowd who were in favor of impeaching him the day he first took office, that would probably be well over three to one.
I stand by my interpretation of the recent congressional vote. You have your opinion and I have mine.
