As stomach turning as recent(past year or more) events are, here we are and you either have to sell or shut up; blathering around on an internet posting site might make you feel good for a few minutes as you blow off steam, but whatever is going on, it's too late to do more than watch....

Sell or shut up, none of us 'ants' here hanging out below the picnic table can affect events, get used to it.

This is either going to be the biggest rocket out of the Penny Stock Pig Pen or we'll be using certificates to line a bird cage, we should know within 6 months.

Wall Street will only jump in once they've gotten their hooks in deep, don't kid yourself about that fact.

The dice have been thrown, let's see how they roll...either way, it's still 'Sell or shut up'....

“n-o-b-o-d-y is stepping in on what you must feel is an unbelievable buying opportunity. From what you hear, why is that?”

I have probed on this topic. Management understands that serious buying won’t happen until the science is actually confirmed and endorsed by independent third parties. That could have happened last spring if a fairly-priced partnership could have closed. Instead, we have to wait for R&R analyst report, closing of DTRA $44M alliance, CHAVI primate data and/or Bavi Ph II clinical data.

The more interesting question is who is behind all the selling. As far as I can tell the Company doesn’t know the answer to this question any better than you or I.
_______________

Here is my personal speculation. It’s purely a guess. I think the shorts or other sellers are very aware that the Company has to file its preliminary proxy statement by end of this week, i.e. 110 days after fiscal year end. That statement is almost certainly going to disclose a proposal to increase the authorized stock by XX? million shares. I think the shorts and their allies figure they have one last shot to shake the tree good and hard this week and next and induce panic selling if they can. Any longs who are still left standing in September have earned the right to enjoy the uphill ride that will follow this fall.

Abe, When ES bought shares a year or so back in increments of 50,000 or so, it didn't do anything for the pps.

PPHM doesn't have enough authorized shares left to do anything major in terms of leveraging a pharma deal or to do another private investor funding. I think PPHM needs to reload their capitalization options to assure they can continue any pharma negotiations from a position of strength. That means a line item in the proxy for the October SHM and speculation that could drive down pps while waiting. Although the $44.5 million government contract could let PPHM squeeze through a year, I doubt PPHM will risk leaving the matter to the last moment. If PPHM doesn't ask for more authorized shares in the SHM proxy, that would be telling shareholders that PPHM management think they already have financing going into 2009 covered.

Best wishes and IMO.
